Thanks choppymaster, I have not taken the plunge yet so your comments are really helpful. I am thinking of waiting for next year's models to be announced and decide later in the year.

I spoke to Daiwa a couple of weeks ago and they said the Pro X should be available late August. I will probably call Fosters this week to see when they expect stock.

I am thinking of a new pole and have 3 from Daiwa in mind, Connoisseur, Whisker or Tournament Pro X. I have been told by one dealer that the Whisker is not the best Daiwa have produced but another suggested it was really excellent. My preference would be the Tournament but what is the real ...
