We do have room for a little one but I’m not sure you qualify as little.

I can’t guarantee any sun but as we are at Monks I can certainly guarantee wind and plenty of it.
Will be good to see you as I missed you at Alders.

OK next up is Monk lake 2, hopefully we get a decent number for this as its always very difficult getting a booking for it.

I will shortly be putting a post up re our remaining unbooked dates to see if we have sufficient numbers wanting to go before I spend too much time finding places to go.

I think the problem was a 2 lorry crash which closed the motorway. Fortunately it was under the A13 flyover which gave the ability to leave and rejoin the M25 via the roundabout. I’m sure it would have been much worse had it been between junctions. Still reducing 4 solid lanes of traffic to the one ...

Well that was a nice journey home for some of us, only 2 and 3/4 hours instead of 50 minutes.

. I should have turned off on the A127 and gone home via Puddledock.

A number of you ask to book this in the summer to ensure some large bags of fish. Well the summer is a bit late but the match is here, so I suspect most of you are up for a proper bagging session then. Let me know your opinions on which bank you would prefer and I’ll see what I can do

Well as we only have 4 so far and are unlikely t0 get many m0re I have had a discussi0n with Trev Price and in the fisherys interests we have cancelled this match. He will be running an 0pen instead.

I know this one is a long way for most but it usually provides a great days fishing for us. We must be able to get a reasonable number for this, so who is going to come.
Also we probably need to order breakfasts and maggot so let me know if you want anything.

Seeing as there are only 5 of us and John and Zack are leaving early I don’t see any option but to cancel this match.

I just hope there are a few more for our next match at Alders.

Next up we are at Blind Lane on the 19th June. Im sure there will be loads of fish to be caught there its just up to us to catch them for a change. As we appear to a load of invalids these days I think it may be a good idea to help each other to the top of the hill before going to our pegs.

Next match is at Claygate on Lake Eva. Hopefully the weather has turned for the better and we will have a nice warm day for a change.

After repeated attempts I finally managed to get through to Arrans to confirm a booking for the 24th April ( A problem with their phones ). For a change we will have the roadside bank.

We have the back bowl pegs 23 to 44.
If Chris T turns out we will have 9 of us if not only 8 so 4 on each bank. I will need a volunteer to do the pegging and the draw.
Maggots will be available from the shop.

Usual 8.30 draw fish 10 til 4.

Damn you spotted it. It was deliberate so I would be the only one there on the Saturday and could at last win a section.
