Just thought I would make everyone aware of an incident on Saturday, before it gets taken out of proportion by members.......There was a "slight incident" on Saturday wherby Yamo and Josh were "confronted" by a couple of syndicate anglers who the farmer had asked to move pegs to allow for us to peg out our match. I had put a notice on the gate on the Tuesday prior advising the water was being used for a club match on Saturday. Apparently these syndicate members said they hadn't seen a notice

. The farmer had told them to move, not us.
Yamo and Josh went up to peg the top end and suffered some verbals from two of the three anglers up there. Yamo and Josh made them aware it had nothing to do with them, and they were happy to peg round them (well handled lads).

I had pegged out the bottom end and heard about it back at the draw. I didn't think it was worth bothering the farmer about it, as I had already spoken to him, and he was worried about some health concerns he had, and the last thing I wanted to do was put the guy under any stress.

Yamo related the story to Big Col on Sunday, and Col spoke to Mick, the head bailiff at Wroxeter yesterday. Col phoned me last night and said Mick was livid at the behaviour of the syndicate members, and was doing his best to find out who they were, with a view to expelling them from the syndicate. I think the actions of Mick the bailiff are admirable, and should be appreciated by our club.

I spoke to Yamo about it this morning and he appreciates the actons they are taking, although Yamo did say once they had told the syndicate members they would peg round them, it was all amicable.

It were a rate good day out though DP. Even better now I know my 1 bite for 1 Bleak kept me in the knockout

Must admit though, I thought my Bleak was much bigger than Josh's "baby sprat"

I think its a cracking venue personally. Nice and quiet, plenty of wildlife to watch while yer tips motionless. Park behind yer peg. I think we caught it on a bad day, but hey, thats fishing and we can't grumble.

I would happily fish it again, but would prefer August or September for it
