I'm not normally one to post links on other people sites, but I've added a cracking story to the Pole Fishing website this morning about a 64lb 4oz UK sturgeon that's been landed on the pole from Garbolino Lindholme Lakes! I bet that pulled a bit!
sad really to have such a magnificent fish in a puddle
Neil did a woman a favour and couldn't really back track Sutty. She asked him to take them as they was " to big " for her garden pond. At the time Neil thought 15lb at biggest would be to big for a garden pond so sent a couple of bins over to pick them up, only to arrive and find out the real size of them. He said he couldn't let her down so got the right equipment to transport them and decided to put them I his own front pond. I haven't been Lindholme for a few weeks but I'm sure they aren't anywhere to be caught by the public
I've heard of a few big cats coming out on pole at Stafford moor and shattersford but not that big! I was on a match years back at Patshull and an angler had a 30lb pike on pole!
