Has anyone got and advice on how to scratch a few more fish when the going gets tough??
I'm mostly fishing the cauldon canal in and around Stoke and nearby parts of the Trent and Mersey.
I seem to catch a few fish early then it dies.
Last couple of matches I've fished I've caught nowt in the last 3 hours!
Any advice great fully accepted

There the baits i would take i would take wih caste, i would start off with bread on the near shelf, and feed worm and caster down the track on my left, then put 2 balls of g/b at the far shelf and feed squatt with a catty but try to slighty past so you can push further out close to the far bank later on, and when a perch is caught it usually a sign ag/b top up is required with a cad pot

You can always put a anuva line to right feeding hemp down the track and fish a tare or caster on the hook but i would feed this for a least a hour 1st
