So who's
So who has been out and about.
With all this mild weather has anyone been out fishing. We all know Terry put all his gear away before the last match and I should have done the same, but, I have been out.
Graham, Simon have you been going piking.
Mick has done well in the nugget stakes and pulled it back to 12-11 so the Xmas match should be a good one for us.
So what have you lot been doing since the last match?

Golfs a game for people who cannot catch fish
So who's
Must confess the mild weather tempted me out on the 31st October and went to Nicks at Hartleylands, just like a summers day - 20 degrees and lots lovely sunshine. Fished from about 11am til 4pm, top 2 in the margins all day on 8mm pellet and had 55 carp and 2 skimmers - most of these were 1lb-2lb but three or four were around 5lb and as is always the way the biggest was foul hooked and went about 13lb

So who's
As I'm a member at Mill Barn Fisheries (chairman: yes I know you don't like the place!) I often go there at least fortnightly until the weather deteriorates too much but limit myself to 2 hours or 10 carp - whichever comes soonest. Last time was a couple of weeks ago when I got my 10 carp in under 2 hours. Most were high singles with a few doubles with the best fish being 17lbs (weighed not estimated). All caught on sweetcorn with pellet as loose feed. No piking yet - waiting for Simon to suggest some dates at Cuton or where ever???

Sounds like a good day, it's still a bit to cold for me, but like you I need to see what state my gear is in, dread to think.
Nice to the blog up and running mate, always a good read.
Hopefully may see some fixtures up soon

Nice read as always Keith.
Si if you guys manage a practice day out and have room for one more let me know as it looks like a very short season this year.
