frisby has grown on many anglers because it is a natural venue and depths change from peg to peg 3ft to 8ft with a mass of gravel bars all over the place
matches are few and far between but numbers are rising and this year we have a super league on the venue and i hope to try a B/J match in the winter as its never been band.one slight problem the lake is shared with a sailing club and match times are a little earlier and start 9.30am till 2.30 pm so you do have to get your skates on but believe me you don't want to fish it with boats on it

54 anglers turned up and now-er days thats a big match so even the island in the middle of the lake was in
conditions looked great for bream and skimmers but for some reason it did'nt fish that well in parts i pulled out 69 and i was on the island front side not the best area as in the summer league only 15oz came off it but its a days fishing and we do have another round on the venue later in the year i ended up with 6 skimmers for 3lb
on a noted peg was andy Dixon garbolino harrisons l/c had 22lb of skimmers and bream for first place
result
1st andy dixon 22lb
2nd mick west 16lb
3rd steve beckhurst 12lb
4th matt hall 9lb
5th dave clayton 7lb 14oz
6th roger marlow 7lb 12oz
