....Why does it happen in fishing?

Every year is almost the same for me. I have a string of results and then "BANG!" it all changes. I see it coming and alter my bait quantities, fine down, set up different rigs and think hard about my next match.

This year it has already happened, last year it happened in January, the year before it was November (but returned in Jan).

From records of my last 8 years, December is traditionally my best month (between Oct and March) and also last month of doing well, before the "Summer" comes. Does this happen to anyone else?

I am adamant that it is bait quantities, but that made no difference at Loughborough.

Any suggestions please?

do you think its sumfing to do with the amount of end pegs you keep drawing each year,and when you dont draw one thats when you come back down to earth with a bang

I don't stop getting end pegs Daz, just stopped catching on them!

Oh. And I usually get someone to draw end pegs for me (team captain). I rarely draw one myself!
