there are a lot of pegs like that mate yet a other day you could quiet easlier have a couple of tench or bream from there but thats whats makes us go fishing

bucko is it right i've just spoke to bicko and he said he was piggy in the middle anglers to the left catching big roach and anglers to the right catching big perch ::) ::)what did he say about presentation to you when he caught his first fish

joff...as bicko was netting 1oz roach he said look at this my pegs solid.looking back i couldnt seemy float so i picked up and there was a 1lb perch on the end .i said bicko look at this sos mine 10 minutes later with 4 more perch in my net i said to bicko have u got 4lb yet. he was quiet all day

looks like ill be fishing for perch this week?when are u going to make a decission sunday morning

WINTER LEAGUE IS ON THE CANAL THIS WEEK
three people have made the decision after all had been down and had a good look at the river
its still tramming through and water levels seem to change bye the hour and that includes coming up as they pump it though
we have a 95% chance of rain tomorrow plus winds getting up to 25 mph over the next two days so we feel the decision is the correct to put the winter league on the canal
i am sorry if some people don't like it but at the end of the day safety has to come first
and we all want a days fishing

its the same old moaners looks like they will be running the next match

all i know is 80% are quiet happy to be fishing the canal

Why do some people moan at every thing.A decision has to be made and it has been, end of!!
Its always the same people doing the moaning and they dont put them selves up to run the winter league

It would be a much better winter league if the first half was on the river and the second half on canal every year the league gets moved on to the canal towards the end of league the weather is too up and down at this time of year.
And we should use b&j on the last 3 canal matches
