Been again today

Well I had some bait left over from yesterdays grueller match.
With the sun shining Gem said "Can we go fishing" Sure I said. Then she remembered that she had not got her rod license so she would not be able to fish.
We were gonna go up the willows but they have matches on so we thought we would give the cut a go up Woodbank.
I fished just to the right hand side of the bridge and after 1 and half hour I had not had a bite and packed up

Gem managed to stay awake this time

It was nice to get out in the sun though dispite not catching anything.
Gem took some pics and I'm sure she will add them later.

she should of took her rods as the ea very rarely are seen on commercials never mind on cuts

I have been checked twice. Once at the Willows and the other time was on the Jam Factory. Both last year also

Well you could have gone on the internet and bought a day license straight away.

Looks like with the Jinx, MD pairs and no doubt a couple of pleasure days out next season it would be cheaper to buy her an annual.

Si you must of been unlucky to of been check twice. I cant remember the last time i ever got checked. All you had to do is only use 2 rods (1 each and sit together ) them you could of just said you were fishing with 2 rods.

Its about time they did away with licenses any how

Si I got checked 7 times last year all on weekends 3 times at the same place, once on the cut and by different bailiffs.

Yeah I wouldnt let her go without one

She is buying a full one for this year

I was going to look online to see if you could buy a day license too. Least we know for the future cheers.

The sun was shining and i got the urge to go out on the bank, no work, so off we went!

Bummer about the license, better safe than sorry though- i know what my lucks like.

Im buying a full licence in April, as you say Dave, jinx matches, pairs, pleasure sessions, this year ill get the full use out of a yearly licence rather than day ones

Nice to be out in the sun, relaxing, and yattering with Si- hopeing he would have a couple. Gutted he didnt, after first half hour i was thinking it isnt looking good for a few today.

Good to have a while just sat by the water in the fresh air and sunshine

Trust you to comment on me staying awake lol,

i didnt even read my magazine i took with me!
