I was hoping you could help me out on this one.......

Theoretically it should be somewhere in Staffordshire - it's a plate from a book titled 'Staffordshire', written by Phil Drabble (remember him - from One man and his dog) and was published in 1948.

Was gunna suggest that Bill Yards may have probably fished the match so he should know, :P but think it may even predate his cut exploits :D ;)

So all in all, I wouldnt expect it to be the GU - probably somewhere on the Staffs Worcs Image
