WHAT after you bugger off into warmer climes and leave us in the lurch to weigh in a ton and a third of fish with out you.
The only date near then is Rayne on 19th September although Im still looking for something mid October. Colin, Tony and I are always up for a day out midweek maybe we could try and arrange a day out at Shannons for you.
Just let us know when your coming back ( always a spare pole or rod lying around you can borrow.)
Sorry to say that there is no fresh water fishing here in the Bahamas so have to make do with big game I guess being in the sunshine all day has a price to pay.
I land back on the 28th of Sept so mid Oct would be great
Well a few years ago when I first fished it in November with a gale force wind blowing i did have around 20lb of crucians along with about 50lb of carp. It was before we realised how many carp were in it. The lake has so many trees around it that it was easy to find a sheltered peg
I did book a fur and feather match there one year, just to get our name known to the owner. It was won with just over 20lb and Gary Thorpe didnt break 10lbs.
