Well this is a new one for us. I have never fished it before so cant give you any idea of baits or methods which work. The only advantage I have is that its only 20 to 25 minutes journey instead of my usual hour.
When I booked it it was suggested that its not all carp and some should have a decent day with silvers. A fact finding mission appears to be required so if anyone wants to tag along let me know.

it looks like the onsite cafe doesnt open until 8.30 on Saturdays. If when you put your name down you state if you want breakfast or not I may be able to get them to open a bit earlier if there is sufficient of us wanting brekkie.

•Two Keepnets to be used: One for silver fish & carp to 1lb and one for carp over 1lb.
Each net to be weighed in separately

•Pull Bungs Allowed
But from what I have gleaned it is all small fish. 70-80lb will win it????
An island in the middle 20m away from any peg. So feeder or waggler may come into play.
Margins come good late on.
