National on bridgey?

Deffo a national (div2 or 3 ? ) early / mid nineties on the Bridgy , the winner drew next to the M60 motorway bridge Stretford / Sale , Manchester 

Now i know yer gotta lay a bed down for em...but that wo tekin  crappity smackin slumberland  wee wee...

Yep...Div3 it was...thank god they didnt peg that far up

Timperley straight joff were the rowing is or was!

Yepp , thats the end of Timperley straight opposite Sale station  then got Sale boats length and St Pauls through Sale station bridge ...... think the "straight" from Timperley to Sale town center is approx 4 mile long  . The bridgy gets wider and deeper once into Trafford Park and up the "arm" into Manchester city center 

i drew once near the man utd ground i walked passed a big basin two or three passed it i could believe how deep it was for a canal.me and the next chap shared some bream that day and no one caught in the basin only had something like 6lb odd
love talking about the old days but there were that good .we'd travel one end of the country to the other at a weekend river canal or lake all had 50 to 100 pegs
then came the commercials
last night fished the canal fish every throw in gave three lads ago with my kit and they loved it ;)i did have to watch my floats still it was good to see
