A SECTION 1860
B "" TOP END OF THE BRINKS SAME PEGS
C  BOTTOM END OF THE BRINKS Image
D  PROCTORS LOW NUMBERS
E  PROCTORS HIGH NUMBERS
F  GREENS SAME PEGGING
G DEEPS SAME PEGGING
H DEEPS OSIER END
I  OSIER BEDS
J  KEGWORTH SAME PEGGING

after another day on the phone the parking has been sorted yet i still end up running around sorting this league out  >:(
if i hear one angler moaning about the pegging I WILL NAME AND SHAME HIM AND HE WILL BE RUNNING THE NEXT MATCHand that means giving up your saturdays fishing just to peg out plus the phone calls plus the draw plus the scales nets and boards and the results at the end  >:( >:( >:(
so just think before you moan  Image Image
like i've said i never wanted the job but i don't want to see it fold Image Image

One the subject of 'MOANERS' can some of you affable and well meaning match fishing gentlemen please explain to me why the three percenters (IE moaners) tend to be really good match anglers.
I have a theory that they only do it because they can not afford to be there in the first place. ie they have to win and if they don't it is anyones fault (usually the organisers) other than their own.
They really make me puke Image Image Image Image Image
Any other opinions please Image Image Image

moaning should be left in the bedroom Image Image so its obvious most moaners are sh#t in bed bill if they have to do it all day as well
most of the good moaners get everything free anyway perhaps if they had to pay as much as the rest of us they might run out of moaning juice
angling is a past time and everyone should make the most of what ever time they have to go fishing even if you are fishing for a top team commitment is up to you how far you take it but don't moan about it as most of it is coursed by yourself and if you have a bad day just remember IVAN he'd like to fish every sh#t hole would'nt he Image Image

THIRD ROUND RESULTS
over night rain put pay to any chance of this match being on the river at this point can i thank all the lads that had been out on the banks pegging out and those who had done a lot of bank side work as well Image Image
the rain did'nt start until 5.30 pm and never stopped as i walked back from the pub one of the roads had already flooded [i nearly turned arund and spend the night in the pub trouble is the tank commander would'nt stand for that as its only 300yards a way from our house Image]so i when home and started work on the pegs we could use on the canal [its a good job earlier in the year i walked the whole length with pen and paper so i know all the pegs and where bridges and wires went across the canal
on the morning i phoned all the team up at 5.30am to tell them to put some canal gear in as until i had seen the river it could of gone one way or the other  :o :oas i crossed the river at 7.30am i new the only venue on the cards was the canal
on arrivel at the draw no one moaned Imagewhen i said it was on the canal
i had john clarke in the team who hates canals at the best of times and yanny who has not fished a canal for five years both telling me we should change the team  Image Imagea few more phone calls and the team was to stay the same  :-/
as i was doing the draw for the hole winter league i left it to roger to do our team draw and on paper it did'nt look that good  :( :(and i had seen other teams draw better  Image Image
half the canal was coloured and the other half not
on the whole the canal fished well
INDIVIDUALS
1ST PETE MARLOW LEICESTER SENSAS 7KG 950G pete had 6 chub before the colour came into his peg and then only had odd little chublets
2ND CHRIS BUCKINGHAM [BUCKO] LONG EATON FED chris had a total of 13 perch on caster and choppy for 4KG 020G
3RD STEVE OAKS WIGSTON who had 3KG900G of prime red fins on the car-stir steve had to wait for his bites but the roach were quality
4TH TONY MARSHALL QUORN VDE 3KG 250G roach and perch
5TH T BEECH LEICS A 3KG 150G chub and perch
6TH DAVE REVELL LONG EATON FED 3KG 050G roach and perch
teams on the day and with one shock result QUORN VDE had a disaster and finished 8th on the day but i must say this can happen to any team in this league this year whether its river or canal
we managed to pull a good alround performance and win the day with 33 pts but with trentmen not allowing any mistakes and tied for the third time in this years winter league
TEAM RESULTS
1ST LEICESTER SENSAS 33 PTS
2ND JOINT WIGSTON AS AND TRENTMEN 43POINTS
4TH BENNETTS 46 PTS
5TH LONG EATON FED 49 PTS
6TH LEICESTER A who fished two short and another angler not going to his peg Imagefinished with 54 points
7th MAVER LOUGHBOROUGH SOAR 55 PTS
8TH QUORN VDE 59 PTS Image
9TH ANGLINGMAN 67 PTS  Image
OVERALL LEAGUE AFTER THREE ROUNDS
1ST TRENTMEN 6 POINTS
2 ND LEICESTER SENSAS 8 POINTS
3RD LONG EATON  9 POINTS
4TH QUORN VDE 13 POINTS
5TH WIGSTON AS 15 POINTS
6TH BENNETTS 17 POINTS
7TH MAVER LOUGHBOROUGH SOAR 19 POINTS
8TH ANGLINGMAN 21 POINTS
9TH LEICSTER A 23 POINTS
i must say this is the hardest league i have fished in and anyone could blow out and with it being so close everyone should be looking over there shoulders Image Image Image
