We've missed the last two horrendous lots of rain. My local river is way below normal summer levels still.

although i only live 500 yards away the rescue attempt too all night  i was in contact with the tank commander the whole time 

Booked in to two Evesham qualifiers this year .... for the first time in many years ..... well today's has been cancelled!!

with a distinct absence of river matches and not yet sure if I can handle a pole on the canal yet, I went breaming yesterday on a pit that I used to fish 20 years ago.
Nice day - in 3.5 hours I had 3 bream, 2 skimmers and a perch. The skimmers were about 7lb each , and the proper ones nearing doubles ..... good fun on a 16 B611 and 2.1 bayer hook length !!

I had to wait in a que for 25 minutes to get a brekkie at the draw for a 90 pegger this morning ....... not a good omen !

Safe to say the day got steadily worse          

It didnt rain tho !
