Dave

I think both Mick and Vic are unable to attend so I have asked Pete Thompson if he wants to fish. He has said yes.

No problem Keith. Mick still has a couple of days to change her mind though. Image

There are 29 pegs though I hope they are in better condition than last year.

Just a reminder of the main rules. If anyone has scales please bring themas the fish in the Res are bigger than in Nicks nand there can be plenty of fish over 10lb.

No carp over 10lb to be retained in keepnets. Must be weighed and returned.
Maximum weight of carp in one keepnet is 80lb
Seperate nets for silvers and carp
Luncheon meat is restricted to a maximum of 500g per angler (2 tins) a day.
Landing nets and match keepnets must be dry before fishing.
Fish over 4oz must be landed with a net.
Anglers must not tip the fish down the keepnet, pull the 2nd or 3rd ring from the bottom through to the top of the keepnet and tip the fish carefully into the weigh bag.
When emptying weigh bag place on surface of water and slide fish gently back into the lake.
No shock stikk type rods to be used.

Dave,

Regret won't be able to make the last match of the season. Due to the wind strength and direction we had to leave the yacht in St. Kath's and travel home by train. As the conditions will be better this weekend we plan to sail her back Saturday/Sunday.

Have a good match everyone and should see all for the December event.

Cheers,

Graham

Info is that it is fishing well and summer methods are still working well.
Several of the pegs that were unfishable last year have been repaired.
The lake has not been regularly match fished since early April apart from some charity events and long standing bookings. Our macth is likely to be the first on the Reservoir for some time. Image From past experience many of the pleasure/carp anglers dont feed as much as the match guys so hopefully the fish are ready for a decent munch.

See you all in the morning and dont be late. Image
