Endpeg..
They cant be ringers....surely their names are on the squad list that was entered at the start of the competition?
Yeah right. What team sheet????
The organiser has never asked/insisted on one which is just one of the reasons why the SL is going down the pan... And, yes, i have told Drennan exactly what i think and why things need changing but they seem unwilling to make changes as the Div1 leagues are all running fairly OK :(

There are about 80-100 cormorants roosting on the booms in Salford quays directly behind Man utd`s theatre of silence Lloydy about half a mile from the matchlength. They are on the bridgy every day but mostly work the ship canal which is heaving with roach. Hardly any popeyes (silver bream) showed on the practice match which is a concern though.
I think sundays superleague decider will be a cracker and the best team on the day will win, it was strange how the fish switched off the last 90 minutes on the practice as that is unusual for the venue.Plenty of different methods work on the bridgy which showed in the results and bonus fish can turn up in quite a few areas.
Its hard to get info off drennan so it will be interesting to see where the extra 3 sections will be pegged my guess is the whitehouse will be in ........... but its just a guess mate !!!
I would like the kelloggs section put in which is just up from the end of the gasworks, its deep there and less boats as they nearly always turn left coming down the arm after sight seeing in the city center. Plenty of bream and tench at kelloggs

Kelloggs would be better than whitehouse in my opinion, like dodge says, plenty of tench and bream.
Should be a great match and agree that the best team on the day will win.

i'm with you on a number of points here jon i thought the whole idea of the divisions was so the winning team gets promoted to the super league i have never seen this happen yet super league teams can not drop down into any of these divisions or every team goes mad
last years final the all winner diid very well in the final [and i'm not knocking them for that] but have they moved up into a super league this year
it seams to me that its only the top teams that have to travel hundreds of miles why not let the divisions carry on and just invite the top teams
take this year you could see
barnsley and starlets both knocked out now tell me thats a good thing i dont think so
it costs hundreds of pounds to practice for finals as we found out last year

i'd lik to put that right if we get the chance

Why would teams in the regional divisions want to move up to the premier?
1. The cost to fish the matches is too great with travelling and pools.
2. The teams cant compete due to the premier teams nicking their better anglers every year.

i thought that was the whole idea of the divisions so it gave another team a chance to win the division

at the minute the same teams are winning the same divisions nowonder they dont want the likes of barnsley in it

I heard starlet had enquired about getting in midland league and every team said they'd leave if stalets were allowed in.

Which is precisely why i dont think they should be invited to fish the Super league Final! They have their own competition/Final.

Apparently there was another cock up with the results so the last round was actually:
Teams:
1st Drennan NW, 31
2nd Tri-Cast Highfield, 32
3rd Shakespeare, 33
Not sure how that happened as we all added our points up and Dren NW admitted to 33 but hey ho...
The upshot is that I think(?) Shakespeare are now top of the league but only just and the top three are all tighter together now!
