Barring disasters. I'll be there on the next scheduled match with Tigerbay - The Trent.  

He just might wish he'd got a spare peg or two next to him when he meets some of characters in the club

Have a bash with it on our canal too - the Wyrley & Essington at Pelsall. Back in the 80's I used quite extensively on there - I even got one guy more preoccupied with it than the roach so that all he ever used to take on our cut matches - hence he was christened Seedy Neil - remember HaHa?

The other night i went up Hanbury Wharf and took ONLY a small bag of hemp...to FORCE myself not to get side tracked. I was after the big roach in there. Espec as had a pound plus fish a night or two earlier.

After an hour out of the three i'd got available to fish without a bite I was cursing lol !

Pining for a scraggy maggot.

In the end did get some fish, 5 or 6 roach, but nothing realy sizeable.

Dig the bank up next time and look for some worms

i had 90z made of 4 roach and three perch. i got pegged in the deeper waters and did badely on the day as there did not seem no fish in my peg on the day. thanks for the report tigeerbay i have been away for a few days.
