the first round of the sensas summer league took place on sunday with 11 teams of 6 taking part this league is over 8 rounds 2 canal 2 river 2 lake and 2 commercial each team can only use a ten man team sheet this to stop venue experts coming in on selected rounds but in fairness this has not happened although one or regulars did find there way to lakeview just hope they can fish canals and rivers
what i will say is what ever you have heard about lakeview it is a very good venue and are trying put things right that have gone wrong in the past so if you have not been for a while give it a go
anyway back to the match we had 6 lakes in canal,lagoon,oasis,surpent river and stream out of the 6 only one fished dyer >:(and thats where i had drawn
ADEY REYNOLDS won the day fishing 13 metres and pellet feeding large amounts his catch rate was good as his biggest fish was 3lb and at the end of the match he weighed 109lb 8oz for the win adey was pegged on lagoon 10
second was stan piecha [108lb 8oz] a regular on the venue nower days as he still dos'nt like parting with any money and a bag of pellets for 99p seams about right he was pegged on canal 17 and fished 4metres and pellets he did have some bigger fish
third on the day was dean guess 85lb off oasis 16 again pellet its the in bait at the minute up there
4th was steve draper 82lb on maggot at 4 metres and he was on lagoon 6
and finally 5th was alistair ogilby 81lb off lagoon 15

TRENTMEN won it in style after drawing the peg set everyone wanted they made no mistakes and finished with just 12 points 2x1 2x2 2x3 not bad even i have to say that[ aleast gobfrey was quiet this weeki could'nt believe they did'nt come down the pub and give me some s##t]

i think its a bad move letting them in as they only have one team in it where as others have two i'm not bitter i don't think they will get away with it in the super league when we just have one team there

dodge i had some spare time today well most days seeing that lee's not writting much about fishing these days its a good job taypot on site

yes mate, it's Tony Keelings west Midlands league that i'm running in Staffordshire.

2nd round of the summer league is this sunday at frisby pits its a nice venue with loads of skimmers and roach in it but just at the minute its fishing hard

it was always going to fish hard as most places in june do but for one section of the lake it fished great with a three way peg to peg battle 51,52 and 53 on the back bank fish for fish right up to the end of the match john shellard came out on top with 26lb 14oz of skimmers 2nd sid baldock 25lb 9oz and 3rd john clarke 24lb 14oz not too far away was matt hall leicester sensas with 21lb 13oz and in 5th place was rob shutter bennetts with 16lb 14oz all weights were skimmers and all on the tip for the rest oof the lake most had a few fish and the best weight was roger marlow of leicester sensas with 13lb 14oz
