Well having been labelled the great pretender by a certain TK, i thought id put my case forward as the real BDM , and at the same time try to deflate talk of TK being a bdm.

this yr ive drew peg 5 on KP , PEG 13,PEG16 AND PEG 10.
TK, has had PEG 1, PEG 5, PEG 11, PEG 12 ( not bad for a bum draw master)

LAST SEASON cashmores: YAMO drew next to king polestring no fewer than 5 times, including 4 matches on trot. i rest my case. Similarly i had lasher next to me on 1 river match with a bait apron that full it almost tipped him in..I also had BBOTP next to me on two matches handling a 16m pole underwater. Add to that the twice i was next to and next but one to dave pearce who when he gets bored decided to catapult lumps of meat at ya thru the trees. We should call him the meat sniper maybe ?

' Old' on ! Before I relate my experiences and horrors of 2006 to justify the tag I would point out that 2007 has only seen us fish 1 match - you on 5, me on 12.  QED   :D

ps The BDM title is 'earned' over a decade or more - is not an annual award - certainly not secured after one or two poor drawers Image

Well you have first hand experience of the **** that sometimes comes from that quarter :D

I haven't time at the mo to defend my quarter.............but I will. :D The young BDM pretender Yamo has a short memory if he can only remember Kingswell Image

Where from and why did Kiss O' Death get his name .............. Image A certain 'cocktail' of draws/pegs together :D :D :D

KOD is in reality a far more qualified and prospective candidate for the BDM title - when I decide to relinquish it - than Yamo. He has several years more experience on the board of practising at B D'ing Image

TK we are talking bum draw mastership for 2006, a title i definetly earn.

As for 2007, so far SI(me) is definetly in contention. On the real BDM 2007 will be discovered with the start of the cashmore's matches.

Have a rethink Yamo after i refresh your failing grey cells............

Sion Farm -you were next peg to my right
Kingswell – you’ve already conceded this was a BD
T&M Armitage – I was on first peg in the gales – you were in the millpond by the winner.
Gailey – who drew the lowest number in the Birches – furthest away from the point?
Horns – the peg I drew was described as poor in a posting to Simple Simons enquiry on MD – think you were on car park side
Bonehill Mill – I was next but 1 peg to the walk over between the pools, getting blown off again, with the water pushing thru like the Severn. Think it was pretty sheltered up your end
Church Pool - high numbers best. Drew 4, you high (16?)
Lanny’s Lagoon - drew cramped in corner. Tried amicably to sort lines with adjoining angler who couldn’t tell the difference between 6 and 11 meters of carbon.
Woodcote (small) Pool - drew in the corner (2nd time in a row) which found out during the match the host club leave out
Woodcote - no complaints with my peg…………..but who draw alongside the few 50lb bags?
Chubbs - drew in the deeps in depth of summer, but the least said about this match the better.
Sherratts (rearranged)– the angler to my left complained he couldn’t fish his peg because of weed and explored fishing an alternative peg. Saw mine and realised that his wasn’t too bad after all. The gravel bend is the favoured area – who drew on there?
Sherratts again – a couple of feet on and coloured. Needed a low number in slacker water. Drew the same peg as last match – racing through and had to fish 5 yards back from first match. Obviously couldn’t see weed which was up to 15 yrds out. Who drew peg 3 in the slack water?
Shroppie – low number pegs in trees died after hour when sun went off water. Who was there and who was in high numbers in sun that fished all day and threw up consistently better weights?
Broadholme – who knows?
