Simple Match Fishing Forum

Today we fished a private pool most of you will know it though.
We only had 7 fish the match with peg 16 the hot peg after tommo had 78lb last match. I drew peg 19 same as the last match when sprucey done my by 12oz for the section .

I started fishing the 8 meter line with the big pellet and had a 3-2 hand line for the silvers that was the plan.

I started of well and hada 3lb tench after 5 mins before pulling out of the next 2 fish (foul hookers). After picking up another 2 tench and a small carp on this line I had a look for the silvers as the other line was dead. After having a few silvers and losing a carp the swins looked like they had no carp in them.

With just over 1 and a half hours left I had a look on the tip. After a few chucks to get some feed down I hada proper look and the tip wrapped round . In the last hour and half I took 8 more carp to leave me with a section win

1st Tommo 54lb 7oz
2nd Malcolm 52lb 4oz
3rd Jacko 32lb
4th Me 28lb 4oz
5th Jd 28lb 2oz
2oz for my section
The pool didn't fish well but no one had below 20lb
