Oxford WL practice - Oxford canal
Posted: December 4th, 2016, 6:50 pm
The practice match for the final round of the Oxford winter league was fished by 30 anglers on the Oxford canal from Wolvercote to Aristotle bridge. Following heavy overnight frosts one half of the pegs were frozen and those in town were ice free. This coupled with a gin clear canal and most wanted to draw in town. However the Wolvercote sections fished exceptionally well and the town sections were rock hard with 1 section being won with 1 fish.

3rd Mark Harrington - Sensas A4 - 10lb 6oz. Mark drew on the St Edwards school section and had perch and skimmers on worm over chop worm and caster.
