The venue now has a knew feature my top kit 
. It happend as I had a carp at the net and was feeding my shallow line and the top 2 shot out my hand and across the surface. At the time I was more gutted about losing my first fish as it was fishing hard this was about an hour and half into the match.
I set up another top kit and continued to fish shallow but tommo and sprucey were catching (sprucey on silvers) and it was fishing hard but after a while I started to get a few fish shallow but was knackered and it was a struggle to keep my eyes open. I continued to catch in but didn't think I had enough.
1st B. Davis 32lb 7oz (was sneaking them in)
2nd A. Spruce 28lb 13oz (all silvers)
3rd JJ Gallagher 27lb 8oz
4th S Tommo 24lb odd
