Jon,

Results a little disappointing on the whole. Canal colour and weather great but pegs used in AT matches that produced 3 - 6lb did not fish and a lot struggled for 1 - 2lb. The abundant bits were not feeding as expected.

Winner caught skimmers and roach next to overflow at Twin Bridges.
2nd caught chub in Crowleys and 3rd Chub by boats at Twin Bridges.

All other weights were a mix of small roach and skimmers with the odd perch but as mentioned it was hard to put a weight together for a lot of anglers. Most however all caught at the start but once boats arrived the bites dried up.

Southy

The anglers at Canal Farm all affected by boats after a reasonable start but disappointingly hard in a lot of areas which fished well in the AT matches

Hopefully better this weekend. Probably going to try Nuneaton - Catgallows to Borough

The pub is called the Blue Boar

Corner of Mancetter Road and Watling Street Mancetter CV9 1NE

http://www.blueboarmancetter.co.uk/

Map on website

Its only 300yrds from Plough you just need to take B4116 instead of B4111 when coming off A5 island

Draw 8 o clock as usual. Breakfasts from 7 o clock
