fished on Birmingham mainline canal Tipton/Dudley port.

1st Neil Homer Sportsman 31lb 15oz
2nd Gary Atkins Sportsman 31lb 5oz
3rd Brian Callow Sportsman 28lb 9oz
4th Dave Sheaf Black Country Tackle 23lb 1oz

Neil caught skimmers, tench and rudd on caster from peg 43 near the entrance.

Gary was on peg 41 and caught tench and skimmers on the pellet.

Brian was on peg 52 and caught on caster.

Matches are now run every Sunday and Wednesdays. £7 all in.

Incredible............do 20lb plus and don't frame

How long are the matches Lee - Wednesday to Sunday - takes me all season to do 30lb

No mate. i cant fish on a wednesday.

I will be there Sunday.

I have only fished the stretch 3 times in matches.

1st with 18lb 14oz of Rudd

2nd with 22lb 10oz of tench, skimmers and rudd

2nd with 19lb 11oz of tench


Its superb, i think its the best summer canal in the country, now coming from a bloke with 350+ pegs within 5 miles of there must say something about the place.
