Colin is down at Lux lane today still hoping for a mega bagging session while helping his mate Paul ( A confirmed carper) teach a newcomer. I hope he starts catching soon as Im beginning to get earache listening to his tales of woe every week.

So it looks like its down to Tony and me again. We are not sure with this weather if its wise to fish a mainly carp venue or stick to the silvers. Hartleylands is the choice as it has a variety of lakes and ponds each offering a differnt type of fishing. We will make the choice in the morning over a hot pie and cuppa in the farm shop.

Will it be
1) Woodside a small 6 peg pond we have never yet fished for the carp.
2) The Reservoir for mainly quality roach with a chance of some carp to 10lb
3) Finches pond with its sheltered 12 pegs known for carp and some BIG perch ( well I only got one at Sumners so I still need to catch some)
4) Nicks lake which is usually good for a good mixed bag with a chance of plenty of carp if they decide to finally have a munch.
All will be revealed in my report on Thursday ( or maybe Friday, or Saturday or even Sunday.
