I was going to put the thread up tomorrow. No problems as its fishing reasonably well with fish willing to feed well close in according to those members that went for a fact finding mission.

Should have plenty of space as we have the whole lake (38pegs) Vic is welcome as always. If the other is Pete Thompson he can come if he leaves his paste at home. Image Image

Dave - I see we've still got 7 weeks between Nicks in March and Glaygate Sophie in May. Image Are you planning another match in this gap - if not could be an ideal opportunity to slot in a Hawkhurst knock up, say on 12th or 19th April if its not booked up.

Gotta keep Clive happy ;) Image

Tony I suggest you read the club Fees thread YaBB.pl?num=1395326438/3#3

19th of April is Easter weekend so I would usually try to avoid it. Doesn't matter to me but Im sure others prefer to keep it free especially Clive as he will probably want to fish the festival at Rolfs.

All you lot seem to care about is your stomachs.  Image Image Better get there early so your not late for the draw.

Kevin and Jean should be back from holiday tomorrow and Im sure Kev will agree to join you.

Just for info these are the main rules

No carp over 10lb to be retained in keepnets. Spare sets of scales would be useful please bring a set if you can.

Maximum weight of carp in one keepnet is 80lb

No carp and silver fish to be mixed.

No nuts and seed baits, except sweetcorn, hemp and tares.

No boilies.

No trout pellet or trout paste.

Luncheon meat is restricted to a maximum of 500g per angler (2 tins) a day.

No bait to be thrown into the lakes after fishing.

Landing nets and match keepnets must be dry before fishing.

No braid.

Barbless hooks only.

No loop, paternoster or fixed rigs – all leads and feeders must be free running.

Please use toilets provided.

Anglers must not fish beyond halfway to the next angler.

No trespassing in the orchards.

Draw as usual will be 8.30 and fish 10 til 4pm. Can you remember to bring your annual fees of £35 which I will collect on Saturday. (That makes £43 in all )

Also something else for you to think about. Although we didn't catch much on the Xmas match at Colemans in December, most seemed to enjoy the meal and the day out. Do you want me to book the same thing again this year ?
